La Nina is bringing cold air and record cold temperatures .
Winter is coming, prepare.
Good for ice racing.

Yeah...have fun with that.
As I've said over and over, I miss Philly a ton, but never ever again do I want to experience a true winter. I've now become a true southerner...when it drops below 60, I'm cold.
Finally turned on the heat today, house was down to 50 degrees and damp. It was 15 degrees last night which is cold for this early in southern Wisconsin. Kitties are thanking me for turning on the heat.
Yeah the local ice racing lake near me hasn't been frozen solid enough for ice racing the past two years. (Turk Lake in Greenville MI with the Furrin Group). Hoping for a proper winter this year and some ice racing. :)
TIme to load up all my cans and go get some off road diesel for the furnace because I didn't bother getting the heating oil tank filled over summer. Heat pump works down to 25 or so. Once we hit that i kick over to the oil furnace.

I know, we actually turned the heat on yesterday. Good thing is looks like mid 70's all next week.
15° forecast overnight. Cleared out all the paint and chemicals from the garage last night. Garage projects officially over for winter now.
Today's high was 36 today. Yay. /sarcasm
I just need to find someplace that is always 75 degrees in the daytime, 60 at night, has a low CoL, no hurricanes or Typhoons, earthquakes or Tsunami's and no volcanos. Someplace like where I am now, but always warm. and sunny. With racetracks and gun ranges.
I was talking to my counterpart in Ashtabula and he said they were having a regular snow storm. Craziness, it was cold but didn’t feel snowy.
It just dipped into the teens with a RealFeel™ of 9°F
I have to go find a knit hat and gloves so I can run in the morning.
I dunno if it's getting older or what but my tolerance for colder temps seems to be getting wimpier. A Florida retirement is sounding pretty nice these days!
In reply to KyAllroad (Jeremy) :
That definitely happened to me & one reason why we moved down here to MS.
