Suzuki swift GTI $12K....

I know they are rare, and this is a nice example.. but for $12k.. you can buy a boxster or the best E39 540/6 in the area.

and its an auto....

It has a few goodies like Cultus intake, Turbine tech braces, and header, but Swift GT's are hardly rare, and the auto trans pretty much kills it. To the right person it's probably worth $3500. Tops.

Ya as previously mentioned the automatic is a deal breaker. Wood steering on a Swift is tacky. Slightly interesting car which at 12K is absurd............more like 3K-4K range. I like the statement... We want $12,000 for it.... What they want and what it's worth are two completely different things.

way too much money for such a car. If you want a similar car find a Corolla FX16 and pay $10k less.

$12k can buy you insane things. An average Skyline GTR imported, S2000, 350z, etc.

You could get the ultimate FWD high revving car, Integra Type R

Eh. If they get someone to offer a big percent of the asking price they should be happy. Otherwise they are not out anything. One of the good things about CL.

I sold mine last year for $2500. The guy got lazy, decided not to put it on the road, and parted it out for about double that. I wish I had done the same thing.

I wouldn't pay a fraction of their asking price, but then there may be a buyer for every seller.

That thing would be miserable with an auto. Good luck to the seller- I predict this car will be posted on Craigslist for a long time to come... Or the listing will end and not be reposted.

The gearing is such that they're actually not bad.
