Well, irish beat me to the Bentley joke. So all I can say is that the car is majestic.

I like the swap idea, but make sure to drive one before you buy. A friend's parents used to have one, got to drive it once. Didn't get it. Sure, it was "nice," but it wasn't as comfortable or smooth riding as I would have expected, and definitely not much fun to drive.

I have. An old boss had one which I was in a couple of times.
Of course, this was me as a high school student, So I may need to revisit this.
Only other issue that may be had would be the brakes, but Im sure circle track brakes can work.
I think the real question you should be asking yourself is 'why haven't I bought a Bentley yet?' Life is short, there's no need in wasting time driving boring cars...

There is a Bentley Turbo R that has a 502 transplanted with a Paxton and nitrous that is floating around on the net. Also has a Gear Vendors overdrive. Something like 650hp in a stock appearing sedan.
Ever since Wheeler Dealers did a Bentley I have wanted one.
Brian Johnson (AC/DC) has a massive pre-war Bentley that he drives frequently. He brought it to the Mitty last year and was driving it all around Road Atlanta waving at folks who's heads were spinning with the double-take!
He's one of the coolest cats in the world. As long as there aren't conflicting tour dates, he'll probably be at the Mitty again this year. Super nice guy too! It's always great to meet a childhood hero and have them turn out to be WAY cooler and nicer than you ever could have imagined!
I've seen a Bentley Turbo R turn up locally for affordable prices, but thinking about it realized I would only be buying it for its effect on other people rather than for any actual pleasure I would get out of it. Of course, the one can cause the other, but I'll stick to more modest (and at least a little more easily repairable) cars for now.
