I've been toying with the idea of entering the RX8 for an event or two there once I get it dialled in a bit better. Their "Enthusiast" class looks like a good fit for the car and myself, plus it'll get me out to a few more events as my local SCCA region is only running 4 track events this year.
Anybody run at one of the Redline events and has any insights to share?
If it is the same outfit, I went to a couple of their events as a crew member in the early 2000's when they were just getting started. They had some on the east coast (PittRace and Summit Point) One of the founders was a Focus enthusiast and very nice fellow. Events were well organized,etc. but I have no experience since ~2004.
Please let me know what you think of it, I've been eyeing it up a bit myself.
I will, I'll have to see if I can actually fit it in with my work schedule (they mostly run in SoCal, so it's one of those events that require a travel day at either end). First, I need to get the car ready...
