I don't know how many were delivered, but they were only made available for purchase in October I think. Initial demand probably exceeded expectations. This is the first time Cummins has offered a crate package, so it wouldn't surprise me if they were cautious with initial allocations to feel out demand, rather than sitting on a stash of engines hoping that demand shows up.
