I had the chance to track some pretty serious cars this weekend and wanted to talk a little about the experiences I had in both cars.

The m4 was a riot, it was very planted and the throttle was very easy to use to modulate wheel speed, it drifted nicely enough and when you wanted to find traction, it found more than it had any right to with so much grunt in cold, dirty, wet track conditions. It had a titanium exhaust that had an interesting note, and the synthetic cabin noise augmented it pretty nicely (though I'd prefer authentic engine noise). I was able to chase down my friend's modded and well driven 2nd gen m coupe from 1/2 a track lead in just a couple laps, the m4 is a weapon . It was a very fun car and with the hyper alert steering tamed a bit, I think it would make a pretty great dd.

The tesla was very well sorted compared to what I anticipated, the ride was very good and the power was really good, but the handling was very prone to understeer and the traction and stability systems were not adjustable or defeat able which dominated the track experience. In a straight line it was fearsome, so much grunt and so early quiet, it is a very cool car. I'll take mine with defeatable tc/vsc and a stiffer rear bar thanks.
