Can some one exsplain "plug in hybrid" far as I know, the reason for a hybrid is so that you dont need to plug it in

No, a plug-in hybrid is way a hybrid should have been built but wasn't.

It's an electric car that you plug in at night or whenever, but when the battery gets run down to a certain point a small engine fires up and starts recharging the battery. All the benefits of an electric car, but usually with either a much longer or infinite range once the engine starts up. It's an electric car you can drive every day and not worry about running out of range.
