This cool F1 Mercedes McLaren F1 was created by Michael Arndt using 956,000 matchsticks over a span of 6 years. It also took 1686 tubes of glue and the whole thing costed around 6000 Euros. Patience is definitely a key factor and its amazing how intricate the details are to mimic that of the real F1 car.

Sheesh, nice job on it, but... For six grand I would have taken €5800 to build a Locost, and then used the 200 left over to replace the wallpaper in that room.
he could have bought a cheap indycar "showcar" for an extra 3 or 4 grand, something he could move around...

Sounds like SERIOUS nagging wife bait.
It took so long because every year they change the rules and he had to start over
I'll bet it wieghs more than a real F-1 car
Thing you do when you can't get laid. I mean really, 6,000 euros could have gotten him a prostitute or two over the same time frame.
