Yeah, kinda sad that the pinnacle of motorsport can't figure out when the race is over. It's not the model's fault, though, she was just doing as she was told. Vettel, at least, knew the race wasn't over and maintained his pace.

PWC to me means personal watercraft.

AIUI, this is essentially because F1 still allows some parts of the official race to be handled by the promoter/host track, instead of doing them all with their own traveling personnel.

Meh, not like anyone checked up after seeing the flag, the only thing that results will be more strict control over who gets to hold the flag

I thought this was going to be a rant about people jet skiing next to the Canadian Grand Prix.

Ahhh no. They will have strict control over who tells the person to wave the flag. The girl waving it had no say in the matter.

On Sunday I got to watch two races . One was a boring single file race with cars at least 1 sec. apart.

The second race was much more entertaining with close running, side by side, lots of passing, tire strategy.

The official in the box checked with race control, they mistook his question for a statement and they OK'd waiving the flag.

It was in no way the young ladies fault who waved it.

Ok for those following along... I always take great interest to Z31's responses....ya busted me brah!!.....but seriously

on a different note. Some premiere road course shoes were kicked to the curb with SRO's (PWC) declaration of no more

factory presence......Acura and Cadillac. The young 'guns' Jordan and Ricky landed in 'cush' rides...whereas Johnny O'

Michael C... John Pilgrim were sent to the pasture.....except, JohnP did make a guest appearance at OLOA last month,

for those keeping score whereas most of y'all were enamored with Travis P's presence??? Basically Z31 this is sour grapes from a Caddy Honk goin' thru withdrawal. I'm goin' to time out.........

ANDY Pilgrim?  I wouldn’t worry about him.  When he’s not hustling Corvettes around NCM, he’s testing cars for, and writing about them in Automobile Magazine these days.

And the Taylor brothers had a pretty cush ride before their SprintX duties
