Typecast, if you like the way you have the proportions layed out, then perhaps you may try to raise the rear area of the roof line with a convexing line instead of a concaving one,,,

Did you said GTR ? yes perhaps ^^. i think make a radiator protection after indeed. i search, i search...

Typecast, i think the hood is too low, and you should pull up the general line of the car. Try to have half of a height of wheel between the passage of wheel and the hood can be a good start.

+1

MattPerez, i like your starting work

KA, nice ( Lamborghini style i think)

So, good progressing @ all

On a related note, there is an interesting article in today's USA Today about savvy companies more directly engaging their consumers. They're doing so through opportunities such as design contests. So, Mark, evidently you and FFR are on the forefront with this contest!

Hey typcast - needs moar shooting brake. That would help pull the rear roofline up a bit, but then I think the front line would have to come up a little too.

I like the late 60's kind of vibe it has, but I think the green house is a little out of proportion.

Sethalpine - that blue concept is unbelievable. Figure out how to get that in a kit form and I'll sell a kidney or a child for it.

keep your kidney for you, may be you won't like the other views it's important to see a concept in every way before to judge it

it's not over, it could be my suggestion, a roof is also planned originally

No matter how hard I try I just cannot draw worth a darn. I had my sister help me do this sketch. If I get enough time, I'll have her improve it and add views. Some feedback would be helpful before I submit anything though.

tuna, that rear kinda has some cayman in it. cayman is yummy.

try downloading sketchup and playing with splines. lots of tutorials out there and you might be a little happier with the outcome for the effort put forth. not to criticize what you've got there. it's obvious the gears are turning but that you're frustrated with the medium of expressing them.

I really like the back end. Not so hot on the front grill, but I do like the front hood. The air vent on the roof also looks just totally out of place and tacked on. Overall I think it has a lot of promise if you changed a few things.

I really like this! Im not sure if the low front fits with the 4.5" ground clearance but it looks very cool! Nice job on it.

Paolo i like your concept. I really like the rear of it. The front im on the fence about. To me the front and rear seem to be from different cars in terms of style. Does the back end fall within the design template? I tried to do very little overhang but the transmission tail shaft sticks out a good way. One thing I would suggest is try a version without the air scoop on top. I think it kills your lines a little, or maybe just a lower profile wider scoop.

Good job

Here is what I've got so far. I was going for a simple design with good proportions, that's something like a cross between a baby Acura NSX and a Porsch 914.

I'm working on some of the other views, and a CAD model too.

For everybody, when you draw your profile view, you always must think "3D", hood are not flat, except on a Bugatti EB110 Give some volume to your project.
