My first try at using PlastiDip. Everything went just like they show in their videos and I am pleased with the result.

Looks a little shiny on the right side in the pic because of the lighting.
Used my brother-in-law's nice large heated garage which I am sure helped. He was skeptical at first since I didn't mask off right up to the edge and then impressed when it peeled of just like I said it was supposed to.

Very nice. Front looks like a Ford now
I'm doing my first attempt at it this weekend. In a cold garage. Hm.
Looks good. I've never had any luck with that stuff. I don't know if it's always too humid when I apply it or what; but, removal has been a headache on some things.
The key to easy removal is to really cake it on there. The more layers you do, the easier it is to remove.
Yes. I plastidupped my Celica (the whole lower half and the front bumper. Multiple Layers are key. They don't peel. It's been On There with road grime and salt for a year and a half now. The only caveat is to do multiple layers you have to let them dry in between. If you let them dry the plastidip adheres to the masking tape and when you lift the masking tape it lifts the plastidip. :( so I hosed it down with a lot of layers and then used an exacto knife to lightly break that bond. It pulled away nicely.

Nice. I want to do gold over the bright work and my wheels. It should look good on a black car.

If Fords hadn't gotten so expensive it would have been a Ford. This is my first non-Ford in 45 years.
If you have to be in a cold garage, at least figure out some way to heat up the cans of PlastiDip a little bit. The grille was warm since I had driven 20 miles to get to the garage. And then I put the cans in front of the hot air furnace output in the garage to keep them warm.
