I still like Button and Kimi. That Sergio dude could be the next Vettel in a couple of years...if hes in the right car...

Why Kimi will always be my favorite driver:

"'Iceman' Kimi Raikkonen on Sunday proved he is not without a sense of humour.

The last time he was at Sepang, in 2009, the Ferrari driver caused raucous laughter in the F1 media centre when the global television feed showed him enjoying a chocolate ice-cream and can of coke.

The rest of the field was damply awaiting the race's re-start on the sodden grid.

There were similar conditions looming in Malaysia on Sunday, and so the Lotus team delivered a present from Raikkonen to each member of the travelling press corps just before the 2012 race.

Along with the chocolate treat, a note from Raikkonen read: "Please enjoy this ice cream".

AFP Asia sports editor Talek Harris said his was delicious."

Seriously? Serg throws a bone Alonso's way by missing his marks ON PURPOSE? Seriously? You want to believe that? He's a young professional driving an incredible race and was just told to keep position. He made a mistake and was lucky it didn't cost his team the podium. He drove a hell of a race as did Alonso. But really? Went off on purpose? These guys are a little too professional and way to motivated to do that. All he had to do was lift a little or change his braking points. Not miss a corner and jeopardize his finishing position. And I can't wait to hear Kimi on the podium again, "mumble, mumble, mumble." Translation: "We just drove a hell of a race and I'm incredibly excited!"

Actually, if you have ever stopped advancing and held position you would know, that is most likely when you will make a mistake.

I'm not saying it was this way, but it sure seems conveniently timed.

RBR To Discuss Ignored Team Orders With Vettel

They are saying Vet ignored his team by not retiring the car late in the race. Apperently, Had he retired, they could have put a new gearbox in for the next race.

Shouldnt this raise a red flag to F1? I mean, if people are considering pulling out of races just to put a reliable part on the car, should maybe they loosen up the rules just a bit? If you read, it says they had some high brake temps or whatever, But we all know (as did Vettel) that the car could finish with that.

Yeah, they were trying to figure out if they would be able to throw on a new gearbox for china or not, even the announcers called em out on it.
