Goodride tires?

Has anyone had any experience with this chinese brand of tires? I have the opportunity to buy some powder coated oem celica wheels with brand new goodride tires.

The name alone tells me they're probably really really great. Really.

Goodride.... is that anything like a happy ending?

Bad news, I've seen a few sets come through the shop. Early dry rot, out of round and weird tread wear.

Purchase wheels, burn tires to the cords, replace with proper tires.

hmm.. well I need tires right now. the wheels are nice, but unless I get them for a steal I am going to hold off and buy some nicer tires for the wheels I have.
