They're basically 5.75" motorcycle lights. Many expensive, crazy custom options. I'm not sure the Exomotive ones are DOT or just E marked, might want to check.
If you go with 7" lights, you can use dune buggy units. Lots of effective, affordable options there.
Not mine, but in case anyone is looking for what looks to be a good deal on an Exocet donor:

I wonder how a white body and black wheels would look on this? Similar to Honda's 450r sport quad -
I know some of you wanted updates: Kevin just slapped the APR mounts on the webstore.

Warren,
The new wing mount looks great! Are y'all still selling front wing mounts? I didn't see them on the squareup site.
Warren, is there a maximum length that the radiator should hang below the lower front 'bumper bar'? I'm worried it won't fit inside the nose cone.

Look at the comments section of http://conflictedracer.wordpress.com/2014/05/11/exocet-part-14-tunnel-mod-for-tall-big-guys-radiator-install/

7", sir.
Thanks to you both for the quick answers. I already went downstairs and made the adjustments needed!
Where do we sit with SCCA Solo clasing right now? Im having a theoretical discussion about it on Dmod Emod forum.
I believe 818R is classed as Emod and Exocet as Amod, that does not make sense to me.
How about NASA?

You know sccaclass rules aren't supposed to make sense, right?

The Exocet was placed into ST3 with limited power (dynojet required) and does not suffer a penalty for it's light weight. Depending on modifications such as Aero it will will affect power/weight ratio. This class also fits in the Caterham as well.
Here's a link to ST rules: http://www.nasaproracing.com/rules/Super-Touring.pdf and to the classification form: http://www.nasaproracing.com/rules/super_touringsuper_unlimited/ST_classification_form.pdf
mrvwcastner wrote: those rules look like no tubular control arms if i read right.
The Exocet is already considered a non-production car because it is considered a "kit car" but they make an exception to give it production vehicle status (see 7.5) as it is heavily based off of an stock Miata platform which includes the stock suspension geometry. Rules specifically call out that 7.3.1 (all vehicles) applies and noted in section (7) they discuss tube frame conversions (which might apply to a tubular suspension). In the rules you maybe allowed and then assessed a "mod factor" for those changes. However the best thing for you to do is have the Series Director clarify before doing any of this work (easier to ask for permission than forgiveness in these circumstances).
My hope with the Exocet is to garner interest from the 1000s of current and former Miata racers who want something completely new and exciting yet familiar and reliable. Taking their tired old SM or PTE / PTD Miatas and doing an Exocet conversion on the cheap. Selling the tub to someone who needs "new" body panels to offset the cost as well. This would require retaining more of the stock powertrain to keep cost significantly down.

It appears to be this car:
Which looks like an 'aero screen'.
In reply to SteadFast:
it's actually an upside down face shield, like the kind you would use for grinding.
There was just a noise in our shop that sounded like a supercharged V8, but it came out of something that looked like an Exocet. Weird.

Are there tubes wrapped around the chassis tubes, in the bottom right part of the photo? What are those black bands all over the sides of the chassis?
