Is there a GRM way to replicate the drive train of the RS200? 1:1 ratio differentials? Crazy transaxle gear ratios and have normal differential ratios? Some obscure car to pull parts off of...?
Somewhat related.... i believe i know someone who recently sourced a few of the old pre-91 Escort Group B body kits.

Fixed it for ya. +20 hp each.
If that body style had been available in the US back in 1986 it would have reduced Fords suck quotient by at least 50%...

Finding an RS200 in the sub 6 figure price range is near impossible.
You owe me a new pair of long underwear. The wife will absolutely refuse to clean this big of a mess up.
I still think the most telling part of the whole car is the boost gauge which is still my favorite of any car, ever. It read in bars of boost, like a normal boost gauge reads in psi...
Amazing car, I wouldn't mind a few minutes behind the wheel...
My WRX has a boost gauge that reads in bar, factory option.
Let me see if I can figure this out:
Turbo, DOHC, 4-cylinder of choice + Audi Quattro transaxle + bellhousing adapter + custom PTO (turns rear output around to send it to the front) + custom driveline + front differential (T-bird?) + Festiva = Awesome?
It's essentially a Mitsu GSX with the engine in the middle.
Yes, that was a challenge. Start welding.

Only problem is to get the transaxle (mounted to the engine) to spin the right direction. Flipping the rear diff over will make it rotate correctly to put up front. Custom reverse rotation gears could be made though...
