Correct. As well as the pillowball mounts. And the threaded coilover. And the lack of suspension travel with true coilovers (rear on the Forte drops to 1.75" of complete travel because of the size of rear shocks). And the exposed shafts.

KW Suspension makes their street coilovers out of INOX stainless steel, so they are highly corrosion-resistant. They are also expensive, but I've heard nothing but good things about KW, so you get what you pay for in that case. I have no experience with KW, mainly because they don't make coilovers for most of my cars.

Count me among the Koni converts. I've had Yellows in two of my cars (FC RX-7, Mustang) and they absolutely transformed both cars' handling, the Mustang especially. What I love about them is that they feel much more taut than stock dampers but still have a comfortable ride in the fully soft setting. All of the passengers in my Koni-equipped 'Stang have remarked that it rides really well.

I have Koni Yellows also waiting to be installed in my Alfa 164, including what might be the last set of new front inserts for that application, but I haven't gotten around to installing them yet.

I wish I'd had the guts to buy koni yellows when they were on sale up till end of august.

I've got my eye on a set of megan racing coilovers on craigslist for the mustang (2012 gt) but it's hard to justify even at 700 bucks... (bc racing renamed.)

I've always been a bilstein fan but i keep hearing good things about koni's.

Doesn't do much good when they make nothing for your car.

I've had the "pleasure" of my driveway in a multitude of vehicles, several cars, and several trucks. THEY ALL SUCK! My Svx with the koni/GC setup is like butter. I get yelled at by SWMBO after driving the SVX for a week or so, then jumping back into her S10. I swear the S10 is going to knock fillings out(bilsteins/ZQ8).

It all depends on the platform, billies are better on some and konis on others. I would be happy with either on pretty much anything.
