Well while we are at it. Closer to him at least. Doubt he needs the stuff though

Thanks fellas!
Fortunately, I don't need any of those parts, but I appreciate the sentiment. If you find any front bumpers, AMX hoods, or front valances, I'd be ecstatic!
Point of contention though, even though mine is a 73, AMC used the same (exterior) doors on all of the AMX's and Javelins from 68-74, including the 2-seater. There were internal differences, but the outsides, latches, etc are identical. Same story with the decklid, rear valance, rear glass, and windshields.
Thanks though!
Yup! Lots of sameness going on underneath as well. The floorpans and firewalls didn't change (so you can put a 71 interior into a 68 and visa-verse), neither did the rear suspension. The front suspension is the same from 70-74. Front clip under the sheetmetal is identical, too (so you can put bubble fenders on a 68 or visa-verse). Door glass is the same (except for the channels and tinting, but easily remedied), windshields, and rear windows. Quarter windows were the only changes there. Decklids are all identical. AMC was cool like that.
Even more impressive is the AMC "small car". The dirty bits of the Hornet, Concord, Gremlin, Eagle, and Spirit are all nearly identical. Yes, that means you can bolt an AWD setup from an SX/4 onto a Gremlin. Doors, glass, etc were all common. That's why parts availability is so good.
I have to say I like the perversity of an AWD Gremlin, however I'll just have an SX/4 if I've got a choice.
