Apparently, a minor schedule leak surfaced today....
US131 Motorsports park will be the day 3 track on September 18th....
I just wonder who else... Norwalk? Indy? Milan (I really hope for as it's a buddy of mine doing their promotional stuff now)? Joliet? Columbus?
The routes seem to be the same few tracks they cycle around. Which I understand, not every drag strip can handle 400 cars and 1000 people in a day. The only odd thing is that 131 is usually a start finish track given how big it is.

All the tracks besides Milan can handle the start and stop point.
Edit: I just wish the '22 route could be revised and ran. There has to be somewhere close to replace the Memphis stop...

is Milan on the list this year? that's under an hour from me.
US131 was on the 2021 route right? I'd expect Byron, Lucas Oil Raceway and Summit Motorsports Park as well if they recycle that lineup. The last few years the general area and route for Power Tour has been similar to that of Drag Week so if that gets announced first that may be a good indicator.

I was spitballing possible locations in relation. I mean you can easily do a fairly quick but still "200 mile" route between the two. I mean the ex runs from the house here north of GR to Ann Arbor regularly and that's 130 miles....
I kind of wish they don't goto Indy. The racing surface is just OK and the "paved" pits is more like laying on a gravel road.

It was the start and stop point.
Byron is too small to have room for all the tow rigs needed for the 450 people who tow in. I've raced there too many times between early 2000's NMRA racing and some other various times since. The only way Byron gets raced is if it's after starting in Indy.
I suspect if Joliet is open this year, that will be the start and stop point.
I'd also like to see union grove.
Summit Norwalk Ohio has World of Mopars. Sept 19-22
If Day #3 is the 18th,Weds then is Day #1 Monday 16th with Tech day being Sun 15th?
Possible for Norwalk but a crazy busy week.

Correct but they won't do a mixed event like that with trucks and trailers already on property. I can see the Tuesday stop. But then I would imagine that Indy would have to be the start...
Edit: so that would be like Indy-Norwalk-us131-Byron-Indy. Woohoo.
In reply to Ranger50 :
That wouldn't be the most exciting line up if I'm honest. 2019 in the mid atlantic was actually great imo. Shorter but quality tracks.
Union Grove would be awesome. Not gonna hold my breath.

I think the only way for a second but smaller track to to not goto Norwalk and goto Milan instead.
Based on my post on fb.... the national trail people got angry at me. So probably Columbus to Norwalk/milan to us131 to ??? to Columbus.
Byron is hosting sick summer 2024
Tracks for the route are Byron, cordova, Tri-state and great lakes.

They hold the AMC meet so you know they can handle large groups.
