I just spent the weekend at the track with my bone-stock 2011 Honda Fit. It was slow, understeered like a pig and by the end of the weekend I had no tires or brakes left. And it was huge, silly fun. Howling around the corners, turning rubber into noise. The corner workers dubbed it the MisFit, because it looked so out of place, but everyone was surprised at how fast (or rather, unslow) it was.
Ultimate track car? Not in a million years. Fun, especially on the street? Yeah. Lots. Plus I got way better mileage than anyone else!
I absolutely loved driving my dad's 2009 Fit Sport. He eventually gave it to my sister, but I still drive it every chance that I get.
The most power in a useable package.
Next year is 4th gen Camaro purchase time. I want it to make at least 500hp eventually. Really, what I truly want is to be able to spin the tires from a roll in 3rd. That E36 M3 is just plain cool!
I'm actually planning on halving the amount of hp (and drive wheels) of my current rallycar sometime within the next year, so don't paint me as a hp above all else. On the street, lets be serious, you are going to hoon it up every once in a while.

Buy an unrestricted Busa, add turbo/SBC/spray and change gearing......you'll get there.

It has to be NA, up to 6 liters.
As fast and as much power as the rest of the car can manage. In the right car, clean over 4-digit HP is manageable...
How fast is fast enough???
If I'm smiling... I'm fast enough....
i used to think that I wanted a car as fast as possible but now i'm happy with anything over 200hp, depending on size. Like if I had a car that was like 2500lbs i probably wouldn't even need that. I don't care so long as it drives good and can handle.
I think a FRS is the "slowest" newer car that i've driven and liked but it was no more fun speed wise than a GTV6 i used to drive.
Right now I have a 12.9 sec WRX, which isn't incredibly fast but fastest i've own, but ever since I built it to that point I didn't feel the need for straight line speed anymore.
