Ok, so I'm standing here at work with an Alfa 4C 2' to my left and a Challenger Hellcat 2' to my right. Naturally I'm soo excited I can't hardly think straight.
Here's my hypothetical question. You are offered the keys to one of them for the weekend. You have to bring it back in one piece since your job is on the line.
What do you take home?
I'll chime in after a while. My decision is based on one outside factor....
Probably the Alfa because I'll bet they'll make more Hellcats and you can swing that later.
Alfa, I wouldn't even have to think for a second which id pick.
Damn, tough decision. The most powerful car I'll ever have the opportunity to drive or a sexy Italian hmmmm.
I've driven a 600+ HP Buick GS (1970), so I've driven a very powerful car, but never one approaching this level of refinement.
I've never driven an Alfa, or even a mid-engine car.
So, either one would be a thrill. What would make my decision for me would be if I could hit an auto-cross or not that weekend. If so, the Alfa for sure. If not, I'd still be undecided.
Alfa without a second thought.
Alfa 3x (since it'll be the weekend and I'd do it twice on Sunday)
Alfa.
Alfa. It'd be easy to replicate a big cube LX. Not so much a cool Alfa.
Hellcat. They won't notice the rear tires being bald when it comes back will they?
ALFA. It's not even a choice for me.
Hellcat. Because when it breaks and you're sitting on the side of the road, Dodge is easier to get ahold of to come tow it away.

I develop technical training courses. Some Fiat, some Chrysler. So yeah, its the best of both worlds. I'll say this. I was already pretty excited at the prospect of spending some time with the Hellcat. But after seeing, hearing, and smelling it, it's even more better than I thought. Naturally, I'm not going to say anything that'll get me fired, but the car just has presence and sounds amazing.
I don't think you could go wrong with either one, but how many times is a chance to drive a 4C going to fall into your lap?

As much as I dislike Chrysler, I'd have to go with the Hellcat. I dislike the looks of the Alfa more.
Alfa, definitely.
The Alfa is much more interesting. Mooch a short spin on your buddy's liter-bike and you've out-adrenalized the Dodge.
