That really really sucks! Glad you're mostly okay. While you heal you can shop for a replacement if that makes you feel any better

Hope it doesn't, but your neck is prolly really gonna hurt tonight. Get the meds now. Document everything. Take PT/ rehab. Consult a lawyer. You might not think you need to now but down the road you'll wish you did.
btdt, got rear ended sitting still in traffic. Broke the seat back of the Buick and I ended up in the back seat. That was seven years ago, neck still aches every day. 10 years from now it'll prolly really be berkeleyed.
Glad you're OK.
So sorry. If it's totaled can I recommend not getting another Lotus, I think they're trying to kill you.

Glad you are alright man. Like others have said, cars are replaceable, even really cool ones like yours, but people are not.
Damn man, that sucks. Glad that it doesn't sound too serious. On the upside, maybe the buy back will be cheap and you can make a race car out of it or sell it to one of us (me maybe)...
Sorry to hear about it. As everyone else said, take care of yourself first. Once you do that, then take care of the car part.
There are several auto insurance claims folks here, including myself. So once you get yourself taken care of, let us know if you have questions.
Allow me to add my wishes for speedy recover and say I'm glad it wasn't worse. Tonight will be bad but tomorrow is likely to be worse.
Get ahead of the pain meds and don't try to tough it out.
It's stories like this that make me hesitant about driving the miata daily. Rear end me in the suburban, you lose. In the tiny toy car....... :-( No bueno
Ugh - sorry to hear about the car, but I'm glad that you're OK - sounds like you took a serious hit. Hope you have a speedy recovery physically, and fun shopping for the next one.
Glad your injuries are comparatively minor. That said, you missed an opportunity by not suturing the scalp laceration yourself at the scene.
Personal injury lawsuit will cover Lotii. Buy back totaled car, fix clamshell, track car or Z.A.V.
Is it safe to assume that the thumb injury is going to keep you out of work and off the motorcycle for a while?

Ya if you are sore already, the next few days aren't going to be any fun.

Truff. I had an HPDE student take me backwards into a wall at 80 while instructing this spring and while I didn't have any "real" injuries... a hot tub and Motrin (read: Bourbon) were good friends for a few days.
