So after several weeks this arrived.
A little unwrapping
Saftey first!
Step one, call a friend and ask if he wants to spend a day lifting heavy steel things.
Step two, call another friend and don't tell him why you need help
This could take all week, stay tuned!
Enjoy. I've had mine for a few years now and couldn't go back to working on jack stands.
Congrats!
I'm really hoping that at some point I'll get to join that club.
Very cool man. Are you going to blame me for this purchase too?
I like the lift for EVERYTHING now. Even working under the hood. It's great to be able to lift the car a foot. Saves the back.
Me too. When I detail the cars, I'll lift them a foot or 3 to get to the lower panels, exhaust tips, etc.
So jelly. I really wish I had the ceiling height for a lift.
Nice. Funny I just was looking at the QuickJack over on Eastwood.
Even a short lift like MaxJax is life changing. I fully admit that I want a 'real' one though.
Dreaming about one of these. i have the ceiling height. Not sure if I have enough floor space though

Don't forget to pray at the alter of the gods of speed.
I love my lift.
Congratulations! I have tried to figure out how to get a lift in my garage for years and there's always something getting in the way. I have resigned to realizing that I will have one finally when I buy that farm with the outbuilding.
Welcome to the club, it's amazing! I use mine for everything:
Staining long trim? Lift.
Cutting up a 4x8 sheet of steel for workbench topping? Lift.
Refinishing pool liner clamps? Lift.
And, for insurance purposes:

I like the color on the RX. And the lifted Miata is that a Nissan color? A strange favorite of mine.
Thanks! The 8 is Phantom Blue Mica, and the Miata is the old 67 (?) Ford GT 350 green as close as I can tell:
I think the thread title is telling.... my dream would be owning one but installing one would be pretty cool :)

Awesome! I love my lift makes working on cars pleasurable again.
Curse my garage and it's 8 foot ceilings.
My garage ceiling is too low and my floor is too crooked so I will have to settle for being jealous of your lift instead.
Lifts are awesome, and while they're not cheap, they're a lot less expensive than a 3-car garage! :)
^ that's a lot of sexy right there, codrus!
Not much progress today. Everything is unpacked and the floor is marked. Just need to wrangle some help to stand up the posts.

Whats above the ceiling? If its an empty attic you can make changes (carefully) Thats what I did.
