In the number 2 injector hole there is a chip. Is this gonna be a problem? It looks like it is right about where the o-ring would go.

As long as the Oring seals above or below it, its fine. If the o ring sits on it, just make sure it doesnt cause a vaccum leak. If you are super worried about it put a little dab of jbweld in the low spot and then sand it smooth.

Agreed. clean that out, swab it with Epoxy. then drill and sand smooth.  Easiest way to be sure.

Thanks for the replies. I was worried I would have to get a different upper intake. Is there any particular jb weld that would be best?

The two part gray sticks.

There are more invasive methods, like drilling and sleeving or drilling and using larger O-rings, but I don't think you need to go that far yet.
