I wondered how/why these guys came out of nowhere the past few years, but they acquired the Japanese Subsidiary of Shell between 2016 and 2019.
Neat company especially since they have a whole line of products for Rotaries..

Yeah, I've only heard of them because of their rotary specific premix. Sponsoring Mazda's IMSA race car prompted a bunch of "it's a rotary?" on social media.

They've been providing Mazda with their factory/dealer oil for many years, from what I seem to recall. They just don't have much in-store presence.
They're also the main sponsor for Takaaki Nakagami in MotoGP. They're getting their name out there in motorsports.

While you're at it send one to Motul also since it seems Idemitsu has taken a step from the Motul playbook by entering into the USA market using races as part of their advertising and I haven't seen Motul advertised in GRM yet although their products are quickly gaining popularity in our market.
you can buy the Idemitsu oil on amazon.. I was looking at their 5w-20 for my next Fit oil change..
