As Dieselboss15 pointed out in the Meme Thread:
Years ago i was like #5 or #8. Not anymore.
thumperman/jensenman/curmudgeon passed years ago and he is still in top 15.
I've made it up to 16th with 21950 posts. Still behind Curmudgeon in 12th, but he always was a talkative man. Even in person.
I still miss that crazy old fool.
#103? I've fallen in the standings. There are still people whom I've never even read a post from above me.
This might be a good time for a history lesson for the "new people" and by new I mean those who have been here less than 12 years...
If your not familiar with the "leaderboard" and post counts this can be found many ways.
The board as we know it today seems to have come alive in May of 2008 so as of this writing the board is 12.5 years old. Oh,but this was hardly the beginning of the board, just this version of the board. The board was here before the first Challenge which was in 1999. The board would have been pretty infantile at the time but the board was very instrumental in making the second Challenge of year 2001 happen. Personally, I probably arrived at the board about 1998-ish. I remember chatter of the first challenge. I do know that I bought my 1988 MR2 SC in 2000 and that the board was helpful with that, as was MR2OC.com in those years.
With the help of the Wayback Machine site, this is the oldest copy of the GRM board that I could pull:
January 2001. How humorous, the topics of the day were:
Whats better, Suburban or Minivan? And, some Challenge chatter.

When I click on your screen name it says you've been here since March 2016 or generally about 4.5 years. You've made a big impact in a short period of time considering others had an 8 year jump on you!
Don't tell my boss! But seriously, I post here because I like the community. It's where I go when I need to get away from some of the single-marque focus. Also, the GRM forum knows everything! So thank you guys.

A small bit of irony, given the number of times I've seen post headings that read, "paging Keith to the white courtesy phone" for Miata info, though it's been a while since I've seen one.

I like this place. It reminds me a lot of my first internet home, TOTSE, the temple of the screaming electron. Except slightly more grown up.
Even the people I don't particularly agree with or care for are still helpful when a situation arises, and returning that favor has always been a big thing for me.
In reality, I can't think of 50 people I even want to see on a regular basis, but here with ~300ish active weekly posters, things just flow.
Is there a way to see who spends the most time on here? I don’t post a lot because usually other people have more knowledge or someone has already said what I would say.
But I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m lurking in the top 25 in terms of time spent on GRM. Not sure if that’s a good thing!
I respect the fact that Keith has gotten to this point with genuinely helpful, content based posts, and not gratuitous post whoring or long strings of one back to back hotlink after another.
Keith always seems to contribute something of value.
Well done.
I have this vision of Keith poring over ancient texts, writing and deleting posts, sweat trickling down his brow, hoping that post 33,333 is the glorious spectacle of intelligence and wit that it needs to be...

Deleting old posts doesn't reduce your count.
Been there tried that.
