Clearancing "organic" material brake pads with a 4" electric grinder because they were cast so poorly both the backing plate and the material face refused to fit the car. I probably should have had pants on, but it was hot out.

You know, if they are imported, they probably have asbestos in them.

It was hot out today and I was welding a roll cage with no shirt. Just like a sun burn.

You guys are wimps.

We have had 100 + temperatures at the job site every day for 4 weeks straight. One day hit 114. No shade- all direct sun.

I have worn long pants, a uniform shirt, heavy boots and a hard hat every day. Welding, digging ditches, laying block, whatever. I consume 12-15 32oz drinks every day.

Why'd you use pads that bad? I can't imagine what other mistakes they made. "Organic"? Yeah, you've got mulch for brake pad material....

Working on anything that someone has slathered anti-sieze all over. It doesn't actually keep anything from rusting solid (it doesn't prevent moisture from wicking in) but it does a great job of making a huge mess.
