Is there a big deal or reason to go 10x10 or 12x12?
Rural king has 12x12 on close out for $80. I keep not having money when the 10x10's were for $55....

How much $ do you want to throw out the first time a strong wind comes by?
Also, check the stowed height. The 10x10 will fit width-wise in a lot of cars where maybe a 12x12 will not.
I see they have a blue 10 X 10 for $50.00 on their website.
Buy one you can get replacement parts for. Make weights to put around the legs.
First you want a straight leg and not an angled leg canopy , 100sq ft coverage vs 64 sq ft
look at the official EZ-Up website and check the most expensive ones ,
see how the frame has crossbars that meet in the middle and a pole goes up in the middle to hold the top,
This is the strongest style , and much better in side winds ,
Now look at how much a real expensive EZ-UP canopy weighs,
The cheap ones from Walmart weigh 35-40 pounds , so check the shipping weight on what you want to buy ,
And then go to Home Depot / Lowes etc and see if they have any clearance ones ,
and tie them down with a concrete block at each corner .
They will last less than a year outside in the sun , and on the paperwork will say not to leave them up 24/7
And check craigslist and maybe you will find a nice commercial one that was only used a few times and has a Logo on it ,
Don't waste your money on one of the cheap ones. Heavy rain or moderate winds and it's toast. I've been through two of them already. I'm refraining from getting another one until I can get one of the good EZ-up's or some other commerial grade one.

I just need shade here at the house for my wrenching projects. I'm not looking for extreme projection from the weather.
I don't have a garage and bought a Quest 10x10 years ago from Dick's Sporting Goods when they were on sale. It keeps the sun off of me and provides some rain protection. I think I'd rather have the 12x12 for more coverage, but I only work on one end of the car at a time. It only adds a few minute to the job by putting it up and taking it down.
