Back when we were racing, we used to budget for 4 or more a year. They never lasted very long, and this was for expensive ones. They can run $500 to $1,000 apiece. For personal use I had a harbor freight version and it was OK. Nothing like the high dollar ones, but I couldn't tell much difference in durability. You could one pump the car with the high dollar ones though!
