I've got a Greddy kit I'll let go for very little. It's not in the best shape but I could use the dosh for other projects. When removed it worked great. I have the Fuel Pressure Unit and a BIPES controller for it as well.
I'd PM you, but that's not working today.
If no one else pipes up as being interested, I am.

The 300ZX TT turbo is a good size (very close if not the same as the T25 from the SR20DET if I recall), but it has a rare 4 bolt flange that mates with the downpipe. Not a problem if you are making your own downpipe, but not really compatible with the off the shelf downpipes from FM or Begi. One really nice feature of my $40 SR20DET T25 is that it is outline interchangable with the GT2560R that many consider the best match to the Miata 1.8 (as mentioned above). That makes sense as the GT2560R was OE on the S15 SR20DET. I picked up one of those as well for $40 off CL, but it needs a new CHRA to be usable. I hope to upgrade to it one day, but I'm having so much fun with my T25 that I'm in NO hurry!

Does anyone use this place for cheap turbo stuff: XS Power
The website kinda sucks but the prices are challenge worthy.
The manifolds often suck and crack, but if you have the patience to redo their welds, and make a support bracket, they're entirely serviceable, and a decent way to get a bling bling yo manifold for cheap.
If i could weld that well, i'd use them.

After doing some research, I think I will be looking for a TDO4L from a 2.0L WRX and I will figure out this megasquirt thing. Thanks for the suggestions.

How's that working out for you - besides the manifold issues?
I think the 14b turbo is a good fit for the motor. I get 15 psi by 3600 RPMs with a 2.5" downpipe and full exhaust. Megasquirt is a lot of fun to mess with and its nice to have control over everything. Car is a lot of fun to drive daily and placed 4th in last years challenge. My only complaint is that the car does not like to start below 30 degrees but that's a combo of the lawn mower battery I'm using and my tuning.
By my math you've got $540 into a 15 PSI system. Methinks you've got some serious power on the cheap. Ever dyno'd it?

I'm surprised to have not seen this link provided yet...

Caution: HMT is pretty much NWS.
That is the new version of the site, made after the creator sold the original. Here is the original, I'm not sure which will be more helpfull.

I know you said you could build the manifold, but there's one for sale in the $2009 Classifieds ....
Might be worthwhile, so you can concentrate on getting the MS and whatnot sorted out.

I was searching in my basement and came across a turbo. It's a mitsu TEO4H and has the numbers 449882 cast into it. Does anyone know if this would be decently sized for a 1.6?
No, the TE04H would NOT be a good pic for a 1.6 motor, considering it came off a 3.0 chrysler block.
Like stated above, a T25 would work excellent, a T28 would work as well, but will have more lag then the T25.
You could also use a T3/4 but that would be even more lag then you want, but will be an even higher power output, depending on where you want to end up AFTER you boost it for the first time.
Andrew
Um, the TE04H came on the 2.5L SOHC 4-cylinders from 89-on and the 2.2 SOHC non-intercooled 4-cylinders from 88-on. There were only two prototype 3.0 SOHC V-6 turbos made for Chrysler and they used a much larger single turbo. Basically the TE04H is a woefully small turbo, tends to max out at around 18-20psi on a 2.5L SOHC and reaches that RPM at an incredibly low limit. An engineer from Chrysler stated that it would be better suited for a 1.6 or 1.8L engine.

The screwy flange isn't that big a deal, just one of the mounting bolts is offset slightly compared to a standard Garret flange.
You can buy a flange pretty cheaply and exhaust downpipe's are also cheap to buy
