machine shop

Any recommended shops in the Baltimore/DC metro region?

Featherhead in Frederick/mt. Airey or Quicksilver in Frederick. 

This is for valve guides on my 900ss. Either a preference?

I prefer Quicksilver for revvy things, so I'd go with them. As a bonus Flying Dog is about a 1/10th of a mile away and Aka Frisco's is about a 1/4 mile away.

I can tell you that JB's machine can berkeley up anything. I have heard a few good things about Kluadmisers (spelling?) in east Baltimore.

Burtonsville Machine off 29.  I've never had actual engine machining work done there, but the stuff I have had was done without drama, and their walls are lined with pics of winning drag cars they've built engines for.  

Also maybe AutoFab in Jessup, but they're more of a chassis fab shop.  I suspect they can do just about anything, they just might not be interested in some stuff.

Anybody got some tips on a good one closer to the Arlington, Virginia neck of the woods?
