My brother-in-law is rebuilding a Massey Ferguson 30 tractor for someone. He has a question about lubricating the rear end of it. There is a little dipstick on the right side but we can't seem to find anything that looks like a fill plug. There is a fill plug on the transmission but we can't figure out where to fill the rear end and he is also not sure what fluid/grease to put in it.

Anybody out there who can help?

Edit: Getting old and can't tell right from left. Actually the dipstick is on the right as you are sitting on the tractor. He has it split apart and I was standing in front of it.

Transmission to the differential are all one open common cavity.

As usual fox trapper is correct. The fluid floats.
