We are planning on doing the timing belt on the miata ('97 1.8) and while in there, I want to change everything at once. Belts/hoses/idlers/water pump/seal (that are easy).

Any suggestions for the best price on all the parts?

Ebay seems to have good pricing on thekit, but I am not familiar with the brands:

$91 shipped Item number: 220388093460
• Timing belt • Idler (GMB) • Tensioner (GMB) • Water Pump with gaskets and seals • Valve Cover Gasket • 2 Cam Seals • Crank Seal

ITM is a known name, however, the vendor may not be. Why not buy from a real store, who can look up the parts for you (ensuring the right fit), and offering an easy return policy if something isn't right, or if a problem occurs?

I am willing to pay more than ebay pricing to buy it locally, but no one is even close to being within 20-25% of what I can get all the parts for online.

For the record, I don't classify "Auto parts box stores" 'Zone/Advance/Orielly as "local"

Napa : Timing belt, idler, tensioner only, $92.00

Autozone: Same as Napa, $117.00

Advance: same 3 parts, $94.00

That's cheaper than we can buy those parts.

You probably don't buy from China.

Thank you.
