i'll be there the 2nd of august with a group of mostly 3000gt and stealth owners but i'm flying in to assail the dragon with our team w1n Aveo of D00m(rental) instead of my miata. when are the miaters going to be there?
This coming weekend. I'll be flying the Cherohala early Friday morning, up from B'ham. Be careful if you have not been on the Dragon in a while. The Tennessee State troopers are highly carnivorous up on 129.
It's a shame, too. Too many assclowns have found out about the Dragon, and I just don't go anymore, even though it is in my back yard.
Somebody gets killed up there every other weekend. Cops have resulted to gestapo tactics. Unmarked vans taking video. Guys in the woods with radar guns. Bike cops for interception.
Be careful and take it easy. Go early if you want to stretch your legs, or choose a different road near there. The whole area is nice. Watch out for bikes.
