Does anyone know anything about these?

Well they failed on at least one of those points. That is one hideous car. All the ugliest parts of the pagani zonda mixed with worst of a modern cadillac Toss in some 70's VW kit car bits and cheap ass american racing wheels for seasoning and you get this abortion
Seems a bit heavy at 1650lbs.
I love that transmission tailpiece hanging out the rear!
I used this car as the layout basis for one of my projects.
It is absolutely hideous - no question.
However, I think the idea of a mid-engine Subaru-powered sports car is cool.
I'm not sure if it could be done, but I have day dreams of getting a kit car chassis like this and skinning it with a really homely econo-box body.
I already have an old Tercel that I'm itching to cut up...
But, not enough time or fabrication talent.
I love Subaru power wherever I find it, but prefer something like this...
Doing something similar with a beetle would be awesome.
While not mid engined, this has serious potential. murtaya an awd roadster that uses subie running gear.
The more I think about it, the more I want to use the Beetle body for a mid-engined Subaru-powered project...
I do not have to tools or talent to fabricate a chassis, and that abomination I found isnt' even available anymore (wonder why...)
Anyone have any other pre-fab mid-engine chassis ideas? What about a 550 Spyder kit car chassis?
How prevalent are LSDs in the Subie world? Do just about all of them come with an LSD or is it only the WRX, etc?
That 914 was awesome!
I like the Murtaya also. Is it only me or does that look like a Miata tub with a tube front end and some different body cladding?
I guess the murtaya was designed by the same guy that did the Elise. I guess they have few versions from mild to wild. The lsd rear was available in the wrx, and the 2000 and 2001 2.5rs. I believe the STi has a different rear lsd.
