Wow! Nice that it came together in the front like that!
Sorry I missed it Sunday, I ended up having a lazy morning and needed to help my wife with the kids.
Saturday was kind of wild, how many people were there in total? 20ish?
The noise was a problem, having to shout directions to each other when stood 1 foot away, while both lowering the rear axle was interesting. Trying to avoid grinding sparks from all directions.
My knees are killing me today!
I have to say I’m not used to this pace, the intensity. I’m used to rotating/moving my car to where I feel comfortable, spending hours on one small task.
This was definitely the opposite, having to work quick and contort yourself in to cramped positions underneath the car(s).
Amazing effort to Travis and all involved. Definitely put the hours in!
Great to meet forum members here too, we should meet up again sometime.

I'm going to start a separate build thread once I compile all the pictures. But first, I will need project name ideas for the thread title. So far we have:
- Datsun 210Z
- Datsun G210Z
- Datsanity
- Infinit Datsanity
- ???
I would go with Datsaniti with an "i" instead of a "y".
To Datsaniti and beyond !

Troll the Mercedes fans, and call it the G-Wagon

Oh!!! That's creative and does have a nice ring to it
Have to admit it, I really like Datsaniti!
But I can't resist adding a few other names:
- Infinisan
- Datsinfini -because the two cars make beautiful music together (sounds like "that symphony" when you say it out loud)
- WayGone - because... wagon.
Love this build!
I think I'm set on Datsaniti. It's just perfect.
So...uh...did anyone working on the G35 happen to find the key to that car? I think I left it in the center console Friday afternoon, but I can't find it now that the car is in pieces...
In reply to maschinenbau :
Last time I saw it it was in the ignition, John took it out at one point and was playing with it but I thought he put it back...
Thanks! I'll check there once I find the steering column. My garage is a scrapper's paradise right now.
Anyone want to come over this weekend and get a rear suspension mounted, and possibly widebody the crap out of this car?
Short notice, but let me check with SWMBO. Friday after work is the most likely to happen. Will that work for you?
Fender Flare Friday anyone? I think it's high time for a wide ride.

That sounds cool. I’ll be at Southern Ohio Forest Rally this weekend, though. Can’t wait to see the results, though.
Let me see what I get done around here today and tomorrow and I may be able to head over. I assume it'd be after you get off work?
Yep anytime after 6 I will be out there with a full cooler.
I have a free filing cabinet from a garage sale down the street that should work nicely as fender sheetmetal.
