Wow, tolerated that annoyance for a full four minutes before shutting it off. I really don't get why anyone would like the cookie monster voice (and that's coming from someone who listens to death metal!).
Also, apparently he would have un-nice things to say about me since I have a Porsche 924S (even slower) as well as a WRX, lol.....

I thought they disliked it because it was a water-cooled, Audi-parts-binned, built-to-a-price-point, conformist...like every other FR vehicle?
If you have followed Porsche prices lately, it seems as if many of them are over it. These are on the upswing, with nice Turbos bringing $30k.
The early 944 was one of the few cars that made my 145 horse 82 Camaro seem fast.
Excellent gas mileage, though.

Performance wise, 30 years later, yeah, they're pretty underwhelming. The Turbo's are better, especially with a few mods, but they have old school turbo lag.
They shine on a race track, where momentum can be your friend. Otherwise a Camry will destroy them on the street.
To be honest, I'm not enthralled by the way the older 911's drive either, not until the 964 do I feel that the performance warrants the price of entry.
Wow. That was terrible! I made it 31 seconds in. It doesn't matter what kind of car he's talking about, I cant listen to it. My 8-year old is smarter than this guy sounds.
If I wanted to hook someone on RCR, this would be the last one I'd show them. The rest are pretty good.

He has hits and misses. In general he's grown on me although i have to be in a certain mood to watch one.
Like other said, many of his reviews are pretty humourous try the Subaru Brat or the Chevy Chevette.
Looks good, goes slow was an 80s thing. Look at the North American delivery Lancias (if you can still find any).
There is a video by a guy who was funny the first time and is now beating it to death. Maybe he could go write for the new Top Gear. They don't seem to know when a joke is over either.
Judging by this one, I probably wouldn't tune in to any others. By today's benchmarks, 944's aren't that fast, but in the '80's they weren't bad. I've owned a couple, an '89 2.7L, and a 951. The NA was fun, but the Turbo was in a different league and still one of my favorite all time cars. I owned several MR2s at the same time, including a turbo, and the 944 was better in every way. Ironically I did not like to autocross them as you had to drag them around the course kicking and screaming. On track however it was a different story.
Back on topic, the one he drove probably couldn't have been a worse choice to review. The wheels alone would have slowed it down and hurt the handling.
If this is the only one of his vids one has seen, i would encourage one to check out some others before writing him off.
