I'm not sure which is more surprising to me, that this story came from Business Insider, or the result.

Mazda estimated the hp difference was good for 4 seconds so they gave the NA a 4 second head start, and let them lose on track. A strange track in Spain that doesn't Require helmets or roll bars in a convertible.

Cant identify the tires on the NA but there are not many 14s available that compare to the stock tire of an ND and i don't believe that's one of them. Interesting concept, though. Is it just me or are the photos mostly crap?

I don't get it. Even if the ND lost, it still won...Not that it would have, since the time stagger was specifically selected so that it was always going to win.
