Add jumps. 

Then you'd see some interest in watching.

How many of the NASCAR tracks have that? I know Daytona does, but any others including Charlotte? 

Indianapolis does. The Brickyard has been a loud, 400 mile parade for several years. Incorporating the road course could really add some interest and make for actual passing zones.
