Been looking for a DD recently. My wife is like Seths wife, and took over my FJC TT while her 200LC and RCF sits and collects dust. This was us last year at Canyonland.
Red is (WAS) mine (Seths 3rd row seat is in the back of it). Wife loves it SO much, I hardly get to use it.
We had met the gentleman (Blue), who bought it in New Mexico, and was driving it back to seattle.
Of course those of you in the know, know that blue is a TTUE (trail teams ultimate edition). Even though FJC are still made all around the world and you can buy a brand new 2021/2022 model today at a Toyota dealership, in the USA 2014 was the last year
Continued...
In any event, after looking at many things, wanted another FJC for myself. Figured if I get one, I want the TTUE. Even though blue isn't my colour, its resale gold and investment grade. BJ Auction and Seinfeld both sold theirs recently over $85,000$
Anyways hunt one was. Located one:
- Original owner 75 years old
- 28k miles
- Bought new in 2015 Oregon
- Lives in middle of nowhere Idaho
- Completely Stock
Tried negotiating. He wasnt having it. He knows what he has. He has both white (OEM) and black grilles. I will instsall white when I get home. Brand new tires (not my favorite, but they are new)
All dealer records every 5K miles. Pulled the trigger.
Going up to Tuesday middle of nowhere Idaho (have to jump 3 flights to get there), and drive it back 1100 miles.
Here are the few photos I have from the old man. I had him do a PPI at local dealer (wasn't really needed), but I wanted the truck on the lift, so see undercarriage
It is different than my red Trail Teams in many ways. Factory reservoir shocks, crawl control like my 21 TACO, skidplates, different suspension, etc etc

My daughter wants one.
Interestingly WOMEN seem to love them. There is a youtube channel "UNTAMED MOTORS" he had a 13 TT (two of them), sold both. His wife made him buy another one. He just paid $52,000 for a 14 TTUE.

I came in looking for Jon Voight's car. I know it was Costanza's car, but it was the biggest feature car of the series, IMO.

Thanks! I actually don't love the colour. LOL! But I wanted the best USDM version of it :)
Had to scroll to the pictures to figure out what we were talking about, then it took a few pics to realize it wasn't Broncos.
Not my field of interest, although I will say, based on the amount I've seen, I'm surprised that Toyota made enough of those for somebody to own more than one.

My Bronco is almost done. Haven't updated the thread. Got 4 cars going to BAT, thus been pretty busy.
Flying out tomorrow AM to get the TTUE. Can't wait for the drive home!
