so I'll get a headstart
I'm from Michigan, now live way down yonder on the chattahoochee.
The Detroit area can be nice, kind of miss it. None of the big 3 want to relocate me back, so i'm here.
Just thought i'd chime in that there is another website that hasn't been listed yet. greatlakes4x4.com Yes it's technically an offroad website but there is large variety of interests and weird stuff can show up in the classifieds.
I miss michigan beer
It was great seeing (the other) Jeff and Warren again. The rest of you guys missed out on some great food. The staff also had lovely personalities...big..perky...personalities.
Sorry, guys, I wanted to make it, but the 24 hours before were a bit more stressful than I was anticipating, so I needed to just get home last night.
Next time for sure!

I'm guessing I'll save that for at home viewing, not at work.
Tuesdays and Thursday work best for me. The other days are gym days.
That said, the 1st Thursday of every month is a department social at work.

I like this idea. As it warms up we can bring out our toys, too.
Okay so it turns out, next to the Tilted kilt in Novi there is indoor karting...
JD Racing Indoor Karting.
skirts, beer, and go-karts? only 5 minutes from work. Excellent!
Walked in JD's a few weeks ago. Looked lame, I didn't try it.
It doesn't take much arm twisting to get me into TK though
Kart 2 Kart just got a new fleet and supposedly they fly. I haven't tried them yet. I tried JD's. I won't be going back. Karts were slower than gas. They handled well, though, but felt heavy. I did 3 heats. The kart in the 3rd heat slowed down every lap. It wasn't holding the charge well. The track was too narrow and there is no "racing", they space you out and you just try and go fast. Passing is difficult, esp. if you are running against someone who drives down the middle of the track.
