You know, I was raised in a third-generation metal fabrication family where we always looked down on anything built with second-rate skills. In the last few years however, I've come to appreciate people who just dive in and stick with their vision - whether it be awesome, funky, or bat-E36 M3 crazy. I've realized that judging the world through "It's got to exhibit careful planning and execution or its crap" glasses is a view that's very creatively stifling. So I welcome this sort of craziness - assuming that nobody gets hurt. And in this case he could have taken out a couple of tourists with that wayward RV. So I give it an A for audaciousness and an F for putting others at risk.
Quoted from page 7:
"Yes that jesus skoolie was something. That like someone who has the mentallity as in ..buy a bus ,paint the windows , cut a hole for the chimney throw in a couch and 5 gallon bucket to E36 M3 in. then slap some jesus love on the side and there you go. Your at home home sweet home. E36 M3, I would so The same! Just not with the jesus thing going..I'm only 25. Maybe reepaint the bus and do the jesus thing if I was 50"
How can you argue with that?
My brain hurts
Once again, just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Check out page 5 for the "Lincoln town house" he built.
Based on this picture, I would suggest that you won't have to worry about this guys "creativity" too long. Hello CO!
I tell ya. No matter what it is, someone out there is probably obsessed with it.

How does it turn without ripping itself in two?!?!?!?

The RV is hitched to bus.
That doesn't explain how the hallway doesn't rip in two though...I wonder how many turns he can take before it gives out?
The two pieces of metal joining the bus and motorhome actually overlap and the back slides over the front part.

And the WORST THING is that at no point during this 6 month trainwreck of a thread does anyone ridicule him. A bigger bunch of enablers, I've never seen.
You have been on this board for 3 years and you think the guys on the other board are the biggest bunch of enablers?
Start a thread asking if you should put a Saab engine in a classic mini, and weld in Fiero T-tops, see how many here give you suggestions on how to do it better, then decide
We're not that bad. Heck, the only time I've ever seen consensus of such magnitude was the 150 decibel "HELL NO" regarding the idea of buying a 3000GT VR4.

The setup is reinforced by hot dogs. The connection is so smooth that you don't feel a thing when you go through it.
I, um, err, .... I got nothing

Ditto... there is nothing I can add.

Nah, as long as you strip like 1500#s out your good to go.........
I looked, I read, Im not sure what I feel after. Irritation it definitely in there though. He obviously has some knowledge of how it will all work, but there is something else of a "I don't care, its together, just let it ride" mentality. It worries me, and as stated, the rest of the guys on there do not help.
All I can say is: if I owned a fab shop and some yoyo rolled in with something like that wanting me to build a hitch I'd send him down the road. No way would I want that kind of liability with my name on it out there on the highways and byways.
Yay freedom and liberty.
Hooray for meth and walmart.

Sound decision.
I don't know if I could stop laughing long enough to tell him to take off. It would be weeks before that happened.
Why wouldn't you encourage him at least for the entertainment value.
I wonder if be showed up at the shop without the trailer. After all the hitch was broken. I can't see a shop with a decent fabricator agreeing to work on that abortion if he
knew the whole story.
