NOLA has a drag strip. Atlanta Dragway is 30 minutes down I85 from Road Atlanta.

I think the repeats are also dragging in new blood too. You did that and it worked. You get us a taste and were hooked.
I've gotta think there is some truth to that.
The RS motors guys have pulled in 3-4 teams of their friends circle, Seth and Buffalo have pulled in friends, and I've gotta think Hollis has lost track of how many folks he's gotten hooked on OLOA.

yeah. The Supercharged Si of Patrick and Nick is back in Economy and Creps is back in the CTR. So even more than before. I want in.. Need to get ducks in a row.
This is one of those events that has been on my list for too long and I really should make it a priority.
All I need is a co-driver and I suppose another car... buying another car is really easy, finding someone to put up with me for 3,000+ miles is probably impossible but I guess I will start asking around...

I guess I will get on the waitlist tonight and try to get something together then. Is there like a forum for this or something where everyone hangs out? I will look at the webpage as soon as I get a minute...
Unless you need a partner or know someone who does? I have no skills anymore and am slightly crippled but money goes a long way to making up some of those shortcomings!
I haven't seen Brock Jr. in many years but he was always a good friend and knowing him as a teenager had a major influence on getting me into motorsports in the first place.

As with things these days, there’s a closed FB group for “Lap Dogs”. Looking at the entry list, there’s a bunch of placeholders. Sometimes people need transit helpers, sometimes they want “extra speed”, etc. And you’re right, adding money to the kitty can help.
Another option is you can email Brocker and let him know you’re interested, he’s got the best ear to the ground on this stuff.
Otherwise, I don’t have any plans for next year yet.
it's gonna be a paaaarty... a paaaarty...
excited to get to a few tracks i've never been to, but have been on my list for a while.
and becky is going to drive at least two days.

Yesssssss that's awesome. So awesome she's getting behind the wheel now too!
Hoping to be back again. Got a lot of ducks to get in a row in the meantime. We'll see how the next few months shake out!

+1 WOOHOO!
VIR dropped us last week. new schedule is up as of today with autox and drags on it.
Thursday is now Summit Point, Friday is now Gingerman.
klodkrawler05 said:And the waitlist currently sits at 36 teams. sheesh
yeah, but it's been sitting at that number for ~2 weeks
then again, I don't see a bunch of entries I don't recognize
Lanier Oval. I think that is the roundy track across the street from Road Atlanta. It will be a busy day considering two sessions at Road Atlanta too.
VIR then replaced with Summit Point which is over 8 hrs from RA.
Nelson Ledges seems out and replaced with Gingerman. Summit Point to Gingerman is 11 hrs. That's a long leg so late in the week!

9.5 of driving. It's what Brainerd to Hastings was this year. And the next night is a full nights sleep with no transit at all.
You'll need to log in to post.
