All it needs is to be photographed in a graffiti-filled industrial area, with the parking lights on, while the owner makes some sort of imitated gang sign, to complete its journey of failitude. I mean, cripes, look at the splitter on the thing. The car must have a half inch of suspension travel in either direction. That's a hardparking car, not anything that is meant to go fast.
I hope you are drinking, because this is all kinds of awesomeness. Watch the Video.

Remember this car and it's predecessor the V10 Judd powered E21 320? Well it turns out that the owner driver crashed it and was killed back in 2011. We've been talking about it on and off for years and I didn't realize it.

^Huh had no idea. I brought up that car IRL recently. The one pictured above is not the one he crashed though, it was a later car based on a more recent chassis.
There's video of the crash, it's pretty bizarre. He just didn't brake or turn for a corner, went straight into a rocky hillside at around 200kph. The car's cage and harnesses both failed.

YIKES ! ! All that from a Trabant. Are they made out of resin soaked pressed cardboard?
What a sweet ride, and sound . . .
In reply to Keith: I always did them on the car, tack welded them, then pulled the fender off and finished them. In the back, used as few tacks as possible while fitting them, cut my tacks, seamed and filled, them then carefully welded them back on the car.
Does it count if i put them on my volvo 240 ? it's kind of like box flaring a box lol , now where is that cardboard and floral foam?

We're to the point where literally every time I do a google image search for box flares the results are all out of this thread. So we might actually have to start building box flares and taking pictures of them if we want more box flare pictures.
