Here's the SCCA Fl region Rallycross year in review--
http://www.rallyflorida.org/news/article/47
My crusty old '86 300ZX won the points championship in P/R, S/R, and in overall points we came in 1st and 2nd. I still say this is the best $500 I ever spent.
Our 2013 season starts Feb 2. Come on out if you can
Congrats!
The car doesn't look crusty in motion :)
NIce.....oh to have that nice soft dirt that you have there. I bet you guys don't have to spend an entire saturday after each event powerwashing red clay off your cars like we do :)
Congrats on the class win!
And WOOT for an e30 winning MR class
Awesome. I wish there r-cross events in my area, that looks like so much fun!

Thanks! We have mostly a mix of sand and crushed coral. The coral was so bad at our last event, it ate a set of Yokohama Ice Guards down to nothing!
I recently met Colin, the owner of the MR winning e30. He has offered to let me co-drive his car at the next event. I've been dying to try rally-x and even considered trying it in my daily Ford Ranger. Hopefully I will see you at the event in February! It looks like a blast!
well if you talk to him, tell him to join up with our little group.....bunch of random e30 rallycross from across the country (and rally guys from Germany) on our "team" facebook page. so we can all talk shop and learn each others' secrets for beating the non-e30s

so far the RX7s locally are the bane of my existence, lol....
I'm gonna see Colin tomorrow at the Orlando PRI convention, he'll be with Bill Caswell
...and here's our facebook group- Baby Seals Club Racing, where we talk about rallycross, general automotive obscurity, dick jokes, etc.

Consider yourself lucky you don't have any Miatas in your region.
