Ditto. It looks great in my head. But it only works if you have a pink "please remove" splitter guard to set it off.

LOL. The splitter guards on those cars crack me up.
As for the color, I bet it will look fantastic. I've always admired that color when I see it.
Sooo.... I think the miata looks great!
Also, isn't there another MoPar you have that needs paint?
I'm sorta confused on why not use the Mopar paint on a Mopar. Leave the meotter alone?

You beat me to it...
Yes, F8 green would look good but the current green also looks good. A repaint is a lot of work for only a slight improvement.
I'll also advise again too dark of colors on too small of a car. It's hard enough to be seen as is.
Rob and John. Y'all aren't wrong. Main reason I'm thinking about it is the rust-oleumism bitch to keep after, and photographs way better than it actually presents in real life. It's also surprisingly fragile. Shockingly easy to fix but surprisingly fragile. It's a decision I'm really wrestling with because it is a whole lot of effort for not much difference. And the current shade of green is a unique shade really looks good on the car with a tan interior

If the current paint doesn't "stick" well, will it have to come off to make the Mopar paint stick better?

I do!
Thanks JG. Definitely not what I was going for now that I saw it on the car. I really appreciate you saving me a lot of effort.
John it's not that the Rust-Oleum doesn't stick well, it's just that it chips scratches Fades and braids incredibly easy. Even catalyzed it's a very soft paint. It does not hold up anywhere near as well as base clear.
In reply to John Welsh :
Yes for sure. The Mopar paint may need a barrier coat to stick on Rusto as well.
