Deviating way off topic but a little story.
Way back in my first drivers school (some 30 years ago) there were about 10 of us with one girl. The class ranged from the macho men driving there high doller sports cars to those of us with our DD sports cars. The one girl in the class was small of stature and slite of build. Probibly no more than 5'2 and no more than 100lbs. Long dark hair and what I would call plain in appearance. She rarely made eye contact with anyone. I tried to strike up conversation with her but she was obviously not interested in getting to know anyone. She was the quiet one in the corner if you will.
I took several more classes on my way to getting my licence and the ranks of our original group quickly thinned out until the final weekend of classes she and one other guy were the only ones left from my original class.
Skip forward a couple years and I am on track with my FC and I am having a fantastic battle with a Honda that went on for lap after lap with the Honda finally setting me up on the last lap to make the winning pass. As I came down pit lane and parked it I did so in front of the Honda I got out and the other driver was already out. As we both took our helmets off I was floored to see that it was the girl from the school all those years back. We both recognized each other immediately and she laughed as did I. I congratulated here on the win. I was out thought, out driven and out classed that day and had a whole bunch of fun. And it happened to be a Woman that did it. It taught me a lesson that day. With the helmet on we are all just race car drivers.
