YouTuber Mustie1 put up a video today of a derelict Porsche 914 that was converted into a touring (or shooting brake, or station wagon, or something.) I've never seen anything like it. It's unusual to say the least, but I think it's pretty cool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VKjf08hunc

The anteater proboscis has to go.
Little disconcerting that it is rusted to the point where it sags in the middle.
I like it.
Engine access would be negatively affected...

Somebody figured out how to make a 914 even uglier.

The drugs in the 70's must've been more powerful or maybe folks have just had time to build up more of a tolerance to them.
In reply to T.J. :
The drugs weren't as lethal and that led to interesting bursts of creativity. Not that I like it.
That is pretty bad. Now it COULD be done well so it looked good.
While a bit off topic...this 914 mod is fairly significant, but IS done well.
I swear I've seen this car somewhere.
It's not attractive, but it's novel.
I thought the add to that got linked on here not too long ago?
It's like an embiggened Europa.

Mustie1 on YouTube now owns is (he just bought it from that same driveway)and he WILL get it running and driving again. He thinks they were 34 made in 1976. He has an outstanding YouTube channel and he is a real garage mechanic body man master. Watch him.
