At 845,000.00 it may be out of our reach. Oh, and Galvilum is another term for Unobtainium.

Not completely sure but I think it is zink and aluminum mixed in some proporshion. It is used in coating / plating of things. PPG makes it. It is used a lot in metal roofing and flashings is where I have run in to it.

/homer/ Mmmm.... Supper car....mmmmm /homer/
Can we get a picture of this nine eighteen?
Galvalume is a coating we put on steel that's 55% aluminum and 45% zinc for corrosion and heat resistance. Could be related.
Also, it's "super". "Supper" is what you eat in the mid to late afternoon with meemaw and pawpaw.
Also, agreed. As fast and good as the Carrera GT was (minus it's dumb name), the Carrera GT 2.0 (seriously, look at the specs: wheelbase, track widths, driver placement, width, etc) I mean 918 is a looker, and I rarely say that about Porsche street cars!
First saw the pic in GRM(?) a couple years(?) ago. Lerve it. Aside from the wheels.
One of the few Porsches I really like the look of, and the only one in production I might buy if I had the money.
