The rack and pinion ratio is the number of teeth on the pinion over the number of teeth on the rack right?
If you can't see them, its the number of turns on the pinion it takes to move the rack from one end to the other. If I am looking to order one it is always specified as 2.5, 3, 3.5 turns lock-to-lock.
