When it came to the Nissan Juke, you either loved it as a quirky compact SUV or you hated it as an ugly hatchback that sat too high in the air. Even with the warmer Nismo and Nismo RS versions, the Juke never seemed to catch on like it did in other places in the world.
Case in point: …

I liked that quite a bit better than the 1st gen car.
Surprised/happy to see the dual-clutch vs. a CVT. Thank you, Renault.
But only a 1 liter engine?
6 speed manual with Renault's 1.3 gas inline-four turbo (rated at 157 hp & 199 lbf-ft in top spec) please and make it look more like the Clio it's based on;
if it comes stateside, I doubt we will see the 1 litre engine. More likely the 1.3 or something bigger from the current nissan stable. Or they will boost it
It's gone from bleh to meh.

We're not getting the base engine but the "big" engine. LOL that seems funny when I think about it.

It looks a little less like a frog that's been squashed to death, but only a little. Hard pass.
Let's not forget great grandpa. The styling confusion goes way back.
I hate it less than the original. Still hate it a lot.

I think this sums it up for me
So far, we haven’t heard any plans to send this new Juke stateside.
Good news fron Nissan! Rare!
I do love me some Clio . .
I mean, the dimensions make me think you can’t fit anyone or anything inside. And it’s ugly too.
Its a lose-lose. But that’s Nissan nowadays.
In the 90s, Nissan made some of my favorite cars, now... Le sigh.
I actually kind of like it. *shrug*
I liked the old Juke more. Of course, I'm an oddball who came very, very close to actually buying a NISMO RS.
I think the new interior is a slam dunk over the old Juke.
I think the exterior styling is both too mild and too sleek. The original car's styling is like blue cheese - the funk is kinda the point.
The drivetrain sounds like a huge letdown, at least for Juke NISMO fans. Make it a tall hot hatch, like a baby GLA45 or Macan, and I'd be interested.
I like it. I always liked the Juke and the new interior looks good. Glad to see they are offering a manual.
Looks infinitely better than the first generation. In fact, I think it looks pretty decent.
I still wouldn't buy one, but it's certainly a step up. And no CVT.
I'm not going to buy one.. but I hope it doesn't drive like crap..
but.. no matter how good the cars are that Nissan can design and put up for sale..
nothing makes my skin crawl like the idea of having to step foot in a Nissan Dealer...
I wouldn't recommend buying a Nissan to my most hated enemy..
IMHO, Nissan as a brand isn't in a nose dive.... they're in a flat spin..
there is no recovering from what they've become.....
But, the idea of a car based upon the Clio being sold here in the states makes perk up... even if that car is an overly tall crossover...
It's no uglier than most of the other little CUVs on the market. Honda HR-V, the Toyota C-HR, the little Buick or Ford CUVs. Is there any good looking vehicle in that segment? They're all homely.
The Nissan kicks replaced the juke in North America. I think this second gen juke looks better.
Like the new looks, but MASSIVE downgrade in powertrain from a first gen fwd NISMO RS. The NISMO Juke RS was more fun to drive than any miata to me... would buy a NISMO RS Juke before ever buying a miata. Felt very much like my FR-S would be if it were lifted, a couple hundred lbs heavier but with more power (215hp) and especially more torque (210ftlb). Not a fan of small displacement turbo motors though... no matter who makes them I want an NA motor with the same power...
It won't come stateside. Nissan gave up on the US market a long time ago (with the Nisaan Murano Cross Cabriolet being the exception). They are the epitome of this meme over the course of the last decade. Cool looking Juke though.
